Woodstock Commits to Clean Energy
On 10/04/2007, the Board of Selectman passed a Resolution proposing a clean energy commitment for the Town of Woodstock.

The Smart Power 20% by 2010 Program is a Connecticut based initiative whose goal is to create a clean energy power system. By encouraging each town and city in CT to commit its citizens to the program, the hope is that by the year 2010 20% of State residents will be enrolled. Through an incentive program, it provides towns with free clean energy systems. As a communtiy, Woodstock’s first goal is to sign up 100 households, which will earn us a free 1kW solar system.
